Opening of Tap Room at Bradley International Airport by Two Roads

WINDSOR LOCKS & STRATFORD, CT – JUNE 22, 2017 – Two Roads Brewing Company and the Connecticut Airport Authority are happy to announce that the Two Roads Tap Room at Bradley Airport is now open!

Located post-TSA screening, The Tap Room was opened in conjunction with The Michell Group, restaurant operator of Bradley. Replicated after the brewery’s tasting room in Stratford, CT, it serves the ever growing number of people who travel out of Bradley airport daily.

As said by the Two Roads CEO and Co-Founder Brad Hittle, This beautiful replica of the tasting room in Stratford includes wood floors, industrial light fixtures, and a large mural of our brewing tanks. The wood blocks once used on the floor of their 100-year-old building are used to construct the bar top.

It is the beautiful result of the strong commitment from Two Roads, the Connecticut Airport Authority, the Michell Group, F. Panza Construction and the entire staff of the Tap Room to stay true to the look and feel of the brewery.

“We are glad to welcome Two Roads and to bring in the Tap Room to our passengers,” said Kevin A. Dillon, A.A.E.; the Executive Director of the Connecticut Airport Authority. We strive to make our passengers love the journey at Bradley with our terminal concessions.

The Two Roads Tap Room is situated post-TSA screening in the Gates 1-12 concourse, and we are confident that it will be well received by the customers. A number of Two Roads beers on draft, beer flights, and food options like thick cut deli sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches and beers from several other Connecticut breweries will be served at this tap room.

From the time Two Roads opened its doors in December 2012, it has earlier acquired and brought to life a vacant 100-year-old landmark brick factory building in Stratford, CT. Inspired by the Robert Frost Poem “The Road Not Taken,” it offers highest quality brewing and packaging equipment. Being open seven days a week, Two Roads Brewing Company’s tasting room and conducts tours Friday through Sunday.

Being the second largest airport in New England, Bradley International Airport marked its fourth consecutive year of year-over-year passenger growth in 2016. Amenities at the airport have full-fledged during the past year along with the addition of Two Roads Tap Room, Escape Lounge, and a mother’s nursing room.

Unlike big city airports of the Northeast, Bradley International eliminates the worry about airport parking and delivers hassle-free air travel with various convenient parking garages.
